Group Care Registration Information
Children must be 30 months of age at registration. Registration is ongoing as space is available. The Group Care program runs all year.
We include a full preschool program each morning along with outside programs offering music, sports and story telling/puppets as available. A simple snack, such as fruit and vegetables along with menu items such as muffins, crackers and cheese, cereal, puddings etc. is offered in the morning and the afternoon. We do not serve nuts or nut products and ask that you do not send them with your child.
Group Care Fees
The annual registration fee is $25 per family and is non-refundable and there is a $100 deposit .
Fees are set annually. For the 2011/2012 term, effective September 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012:
- 30 months to 36 months: $835 per month (also includes children not yet potty trained)
- 36 months to 5 years: $735 per month
Parent expectations
- Please keep your child at home if they have any of the following cold symptoms: fever, green or yellow runny nose, or a persistent cough. This is very important to ensure the health of the other children and the staff. Thank you.
- Provide a nutritious lunch each day. Please note we can microwave warmups.
- Send your child prepared to play and it can be messy! Please provide a full change of clothes and inside slippers as well as clothing for outdoors (a muddy buddy, boots, hat, mittens) as we like to go out each day.
- Send a light sheet, blanket and small pillow (optional) for nap time. Please take these home on Fridays for washing.
- If your child requires medicine, prescribed or over the counter, and you wish us to administer it, you must fill out a permission form with detailed instructions. We will keep a log of when the medicine is given and how much was administered. All medicines ar kept under lock and key and must be taken home when they are finished or the child no longer requires them to be given.
