School Age Registration Information
Registration is ongoing as space is available. The School Age program runs from the Wednesday after Labour Day to the last day of school in June. Care is also offered on all school non-instructional days and during the school Winter and Spring breaks. We provide service to/from Eagle Ridge, Glen and Heritage Mountain Elementary schools.
A summer program is offered in July and August. Summer Program has a monthly preferred rate of $700/month or a weekly rate of $185/week . Daily rates are as available and the fee is $40/day. Fieldtrips and local outings are included along with a morning and afternoon snack each day.
School Age Fees
The annual registration fee is $25 per family and is non-refundable. There is also a $100 deposit per family which is held on file until the last month the child(ren) are enrolled at Panda Bear providing the required one calendar months notice of withdrawal is received. Pick up on early school dismissals is included in the fees. Extra hours of care on school Pro-d days and Breaks (Winter & Spring) are provided at a cost of $20/day - sign up is required and you only pay if you sign up. Government Child Care subsidy is accepted.
Fees are set annually. Fees for the 2011/2012 school term (Sept. to June) are:
- Full before and afterschool care (Grades 2-5) : $385 per month
Kindergarten and Grade 1: $435 per month
- Afterschool care only (Grades 2-5) : $340 per month
Kindergarten and Grade 1: $400 per month
- Before school care only (Grades 2-5) : $225 per month
Kindergarten and Grade 1: $250 per month
Note: We will offer part time care as space is available.
Transportation fees of $60/month for before and after school care and $30/month for afterschool only care, apply if your child attends Glen or Heritage Mtn. Elementary schools
Snack
A simple healthy snack is provided every day after school (eg. fruits/vegetables along with menu items such as bagels and cream cheese , muffins, granola bars, puddings, popcorn etc.). We do not serve nuts or nut products and ask that you do not send them with your child.
