School Age Registration Information
Registration is ongoing as space is available. The School Age program runs from the Wednesday after Labour Day to the last day of school in June. Care is also offered on all school non-instructional days and during the school Winter and Spring breaks. We provide service to Pitt Meadows, Highland Park, Davie Jones and Edith McDermott Elementary schools.
A summer program is offered in July and August. Summer program has a monthly preferred rate of $700/month or a weekly rate of $185/week for less than the two full months of care. Daily rates are as available and the fee is $40 per day. Fieldtrips and local outings are included along with a morning and afternoon snack each day.
FEES
The annual registration fee is $25 per family and is non-refundable. There is also a deposit of $100 per family which is held on file and applied to the last month the child(ren) are enrolled with Panda Bear, providing the required one calendar month's notice for withdrawal is received. Pickup on early school dismissals is included in the fees. Extra hours of care on school Pro-D days and breaks (Winter and Spring)are provided at cost of $20/day - sign up is required and you only pay if you sign up. Government Child Care Subsidy is accepted.
Fees are set annually. For the 2011/2012 School Term (Sept. to June) fees are:
Pitt Meadows/Highland Park/ Davie Jones and Edith McDermott :
- Full before and afterschool care (Grades 1-7) : $450 per month
Kindergarten: $495 per month
- Afterschool care only (Grades 1-7) : $375 per month
Kindergarten: $420 per month
- Before school care only (Grades 1-7) : $255 per month
Kindergarten: $300 per month
Note: We will offer part time care as space is available.
SNACK
A simple snack is provided evey day afterschool. For example, fruits and vegetables along with menu items such as bagels and cream cheese, muffins, granola bars, puddings and popcorn etc. We do not serve nuts or nut products and ask that you do not send them with your child.
